Record Store Day International Organizations Partner with Discogs for a Global Vinyl Shopping Experience

19.4.2024

Discogs, the world’s leading music discovery and record-collecting platform, announces a partnership
with Record Store Day (RSD) organizations globally to unveil a dedicated shopping portal connecting local
RSD record stores with music-obsessed fans around the world.

Discogs will power a centralized online marketplace dubbed Record Store Day Afters highlighting
participating RSD stores from over 13 countries.

After visiting their favorite local shop in person this Record Store Day, April 20, 2024, fans can purchase
RSD 2024 vinyl releases directly from participating record stores and exclusive titles only found in specific
RSD regions. The Discogs community will also find helpful RSD-related content, record-collecting guides,
and more all in this one online destination.

“The same goal unites us—to empower record collectors and record stores—so it’s exciting to collaborate
with these regional Record Store Day organizations to increase these participating stores’ visibility during
one of the busiest times in the vinyl industry,” says Jeffrey Smith, Discogs’ Vice President of Marketing.
Discogs’ international RSD shopping portal will launch online after the in-person event at 20:00 CET on
Monday, April 22, 2024, featuring record stores from the following RSD regions:

Participating Regions: Australia • Austria • Belgium • Canada • Finland • Germany • Ireland • Japan
